I was in my local Walgreens and came across these ultra-cool classic "Super Powers" mini figures. Produced by Gentle Giant, these mini figures retail for $3.99 each and are about 2 inches tall. They are all packaged in a removable resealable blister, which makes removing them and putting them back on their display card a breeze.
I was unfamiliar with these, so I did some digging and found that Gentle Giant digitally scanned the original 80's molds, which means these figures are built from the original 80's classics. There is no articulation and are essentially 2" statues. I don't have a problem with that since they capture the original figures nicely. They are constructed with a PVC plastic and even use cloth materials where applicable. Outstanding!
Now hopefully they produce all the characters from the original series! This would be a great alternative to the high priced vintage figs!

There is a Superman and Wonder Woman also produced but were available as an exclusive through last years SDCC.
